The ideal of mutual help in this <br>\ncountry has now lost much of its significance. For instance, <br>\nkampung residents now seem to prefer to hire a number of people <br>\nto keep guard of their neighborhood rather than share the burden <br>\namong themselves.<\/p>\n<p>What about national development? The New Order Cabinets had <br>\nemphasized physical development and did very little for the moral <br>\ndevelopment of the people. No wonder that under such <br>\ncircumstances corruption was rife.<\/p>\n<p>Megawati's administration with her mutual-help Cabinet is <br>\nhoping to bring new spirit in order to materialize national <br>\naspirations.
