        "content": "<p>Water supply deal signed<\/p>\n<p>BEKASI (JP): The Bekasi branch of the PDAM water company and<br>\nPT Putra Alvita Pratama, the developer of the Bekasi Kota Legenda<br>\nhousing complex, signed an agreement on tap water supply<br>\nyesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The Bekasi PDAM was represented by Dudung T. Ruskandi, while<br>\nLaurent Aliandoe represented the private developer, a press<br>\nrelease sent to The Jakarta Post yesterday said.<\/p>\n<p>Under the deal, the water company is to install a 1.6-<br>\nkilometer piping from the water treatment plant in Tambun, a<br>\nvillage some 25 kms east of Bekasi, to the housing complex.<\/p>\n<p>The network for the water supply system is scheduled to be<br>\nfinished by the end of this month, Ruskandi said.<\/p>\n<p>Aliandoe said that 2,300 houses in the complex have been sold,<br>\nbut he did not say how many houses the developer is building in<br>\nthe Kota Legenda complex.<\/p>\n<p>The developer has invested a total of Rp 1 billion<br>\n(US$434,700) in the housing complex.
