        "content": "<p>Water contaminated with e-coli bacteria<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The Indonesian Forum for the Environment (Walhi)<br>\ncampaign manager, Raja Siregar, said on Friday that the piled up<br>\nwaste in the capital had polluted 80 percent of groundwater with<br>\ne-coli bacteria.<\/p>\n<p>The bad quality groundwater later becomes one of the most<br>\nprominent sources of digestive tract infections and skin<br>\ndiseases, he said.<\/p>\n<p>The bacteria, which causes diarrhea, has been spreading<br>\nrapidly as the city does not have a special drainage system for<br>\ndomestic waste. It results in the contaminant to enter<br>\ngroundwater sources.<\/p>\n<p>\"Jakarta's poor city planning has contributed to the high<br>\nlevel of contamination of the capital's water.
