        "content": "<p>Warship serves Jepara-Karimunjawa<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG, Central Java (JP): Holidaymakers to Karimunjawa<br>\nIsland will soon be able to add to their experience by riding a<br>\ncommercial warship.<\/p>\n<p>The curious news came last week as the Jepara regency<br>\ngovernment plans to operate a Landing Ship Tank (LST) to service<br>\nthe Jepara-Karimunjawa route after the regular ferry, KM Sejati<br>\nBerkah was declared unseaworthy.<\/p>\n<p>Gatot Soedjantoko, head of the Central Java Transportation<br>\noffice, said last week that the warship would be operated pending<br>\nthe completion of KM Sejati Berkah's substitute.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the current absence of ferries has been a<br>\nwindfall for local fishermen who lease their fishing boats to<br>\ntourists and traveling residents.<\/p>\n<p>The replacement is being built by the Surabaya-based PT PAL<br>\nshipyard, Antara reported.(02)<\/p>",
