Warning from LG Electronics<\/p>\n
Recently a number of our branch offices have received phone
\ncalls from customers asking for confirmation of a lottery
\npromising tour packages or Astrea Supra motorbikes as prizes, and
\nsupposedly organized by Goldstar Entertainment or PT Goldstar
\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n
The customers said some people claiming to represent
\nGoldstar\/LG had visited them or that letters (without
\nletterheads) had been received notifying them they had won a
\nmotorbike, and they were required to deposit some money in a
\ncertain account at BCA prior to the delivery of the prize.<\/p>\n
So far a number of customers have tried to contact by
\ntelephone the office of PT Goldstar Indonesia on the 20th floor
\nof the Metropolitan II building on Jl. Sudirman Kav. 15, Jakarta,
\nbut nobody answered the telephone. Therefore, they contacted LG's
\noffice to get information\/confirmation, because LG used to be
\nknown as Goldstar.<\/p>\n
In connection with this we would like to say the following:
\n- The lottery is in no way connected with PT LG Electronics
\nIndonesia.
\n- We have contacted the management of the Metropolitan building
\nand have received confirmation from Ms. Rini that there is no
\ntenant by the name of PT Goldstar Indonesia or Goldstar
\nEntertainment in the Metropolitan I or Metropolitan II buildings
\nin Jakarta.<\/p>\n
