        "content": "<p>Warning from Customs<\/p>\n<p>From Media Indonesia<\/p>\n<p>A letter has recently been distributed claiming it came from a<br>\n\"Team for the Popularization of Legislation on Customs and Excise<br>\nof the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Republic<br>\nof Indonesia\" located at Jalan Jenderal A. Yani No. 31 Jakarta<br>\n132230, in it which is said there is a plan to publish a book<br>\ntitled Popularization of the Legislation on Customs and Excise<br>\nAffairs.<\/p>\n<p>The letter asks the government, state and private enterprises<br>\nas well as all related firms and suppliers of the Directorate<br>\nGeneral of Customs and Excise to \"take an active part\" in the<br>\nproject by placing advertisements and articles in the book.<\/p>\n<p>In connection with the above, we would like to let the public<br>\nknow the following:<\/p>\n<p>1. The Directorate General of Customs and Excise has no knowledge<br>\nof nor any relationship whatsoever with the party referred to<br>\nabove.<\/p>\n<p>2. Therefore, the Directorate General of Customs and Excise<br>\ncannot be held responsible for consequences arising from any<br>\nagreement between relevant parties (the government\/private and<br>\nstate enterprises) and the party referred to above.<\/p>\n<p>3. The Directorate General of Customs and Excise will not assume<br>\nany responsibility for the content of the book which may indeed<br>\nbe published by the party referred to above.<\/p>\n<p>4. The Directorate General of Customs and Excise wishes to take<br>\nthis opportunity to inform the public that it is planning to<br>\npublish a Customs Directory 2000, which will be a joint<br>\npublication with Warta Bea Cukai (Customs and Excise News)<br>\nmonthly.<\/p>\n<p>5.
