        "content": "<p>Wang wins Olympic golf c'ships<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Wang Ter Chiang of China Taipei convincingly<br>\nscored five-under par in the final day of the Rp 250 million<br>\n(US$28,090) Olympic Golf Championships at the Rancamaya Golf and<br>\nCountry Club in Bogor Friday. He pocketed the Rp 66 million cash<br>\nprize money and received the Bohemian crystal trophy.<\/p>\n<p>Wang carded two birdies in hole 2 and 3 respectively before<br>\nproducing a total of 12-under par 276. Spectators, standing near<br>\nholes 9 and 18, applauded Wang's attractive performance.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesians Maan Nasim and Ilyasak shared the second place<br>\nwith a total of four-under par 284.<\/p>\n<p>Maan created one-under par 71. He received acknowledgement<br>\nfrom spectators as he managed a successful putt from a two-meter<br>\ndistance on hole 9.<\/p>\n<p>While Ilyasak, who was second on Thursday's scoreboard,<br>\nspoiled his chances of trailing Wang after making two-over par<br>\n74.<\/p>\n<p>Malaysian Danny Chia, who jointly led the first day with Wang,<br>\nonly finished third after producing two-under par 70 for a total<br>\nof two-under 286.<\/p>\n<p>Defending champion Stephen Atako Lindskog of Sweden failed to<br>\nperform his best during the four-day event as he only finished<br>\nfour with a total score of one-under par 287.<\/p>\n<p>In the championships, Lindskog carded one-over par 73 on the<br>\nfirst day, one-under par 71 on the second and third rounds and an<br>\neven par on the final day.<\/p>\n<p>Other golfers finished over par on the score board.<\/p>\n<p>In the amateur class, Indra Hermawan of Indonesia managed to<br>\nretain his leading score to finish first after carding one-over<br>\npar 73. Indra produced eight-over par 296.<\/p>\n<p>\"This result meets my expectation. The hot sunshine didn't<br>\nbother my game. I'm really glad as I could win my first<br>\ntournament,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Tough challenger I Ketut Sugiartha, who narrowly trailed Indra<br>\non the third day, spoiled his chance in the final as he created<br>\n10-over par 82 to only finish fourth with a total of 24-over par<br>\n312.
