        "content": "<p>A perimeter wall collapsed and injured at least ten residents who\nwere resting after participating in a community walk in the Minomartani\nhousing complex, Ngaglik, Sleman. The incident occurred on Sunday\nmorning near the boundary of SDN Minomartani 2 state primary school.<\/p>\n<p>Sleman Police public relations officer Iptu Argo Anggoro explained\nthat the victims had been sitting and resting after a walk and exercise\nsession held to commemorate the 81st anniversary of Indonesian\nindependence. The wall, which was 1.5 metres high and 20 metres long,\nsuddenly collapsed onto the group.<\/p>\n<p>The ten injured victims included seven women and three men. They were\nevacuated and received medical treatment at Condongcatur Hospital,\nHermina Hospital, and UAD Hospital, with some later referred for further\ncare.<\/p>\n<p>Initial investigations revealed the wall, believed to have been built\naround 1980, lacked a proper foundation and adequate steel\nreinforcement. Police confirmed no one was touching or leaning against\nthe wall at the time of the collapse, and the exact cause remains under\ninvestigation.<\/p>\n<p>Bambang Kuntoro, Head of the Sleman Regional Disaster Management\nAgency (BPBD), stated that approximately 170 to 200 residents had taken\npart in the event. He noted that the area was popular for resting due to\nits shade. Evacuation was carried out swiftly with the help of local\nresidents, though ambulances took around 15 to 20 minutes to arrive. The\ngovernment will cover all medical expenses for victims who are not\nregistered with the national health insurance scheme (BPJS).<\/p>",
