        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Volkswagen has reportedly decided not to launch\nthe ID. Golf in the near future, despite previous rumours that the\nelectric car would be released in 2028.<\/p>\n<p>According to Arena EV on Thursday (14\/5), Volkswagen CEO Thomas\nSch\u00e4fer said that the company does not plan to release an electric\nversion of the Golf in the next few years.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, Volkswagen is currently focusing on preparing several other\nelectric vehicle models, such as the ID. Polo, a new version of the ID.3\nNeo, and the ID. Cross.<\/p>\n<p>These vehicles will use a new generation SSP platform, which features\nan 800V architecture, more advanced battery technology, and new software\ndeveloped in collaboration with Rivian.<\/p>\n<p>The SSP platform was initially planned to be launched this year, but\nit has been delayed. The first vehicle based on the platform is now\nexpected to be launched in 2028.<\/p>\n<p>Although the ID.
