        "content": "<p>Polda Metro Jaya has confirmed that it has received a report of an\nalleged criminal act against religion involving a woman with the initial\nC. The reported individual is known to be the vocalist of a band that\nperformed at The Sounds Project music concert in North Jakarta\nrecently.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Budi\nHermanto, stated that the report was filed by Muhammad Dimas Saputra,\nS.H. The official report has been registered under number\nLP\/B\/5998\/VIII\/2026\/SPKT\/POLDA METRO JAYA dated 13 August 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe report relates to a social media post suspected of containing\ninsults against religion. In the report, the case is linked to Article\n300 and\/or Article 301 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal\nCode,\u201d said Budi in his statement in Jakarta on Friday (14\/8).<\/p>\n<p>The case originated from a photo posted on C\u2019s personal Threads\naccount with the username <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"clareesya\">@clareesya<\/span>. In the post, C appeared to\npose in a manner considered to resemble the takbir gesture with the\ncaption, \u201cTakbir style Love you <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"thesoundsproject\">@thesoundsproject<\/span>\u2026\u201d. The photo\nsparked controversy because C was wearing clothing deemed revealing\nwhile making the gesture.<\/p>\n<p>Although the original post has been deleted, screenshots of the photo\nhave spread widely after being reposted by the account <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"dimas.lawyer\">@dimas.lawyer<\/span>. The\ncomplainant emphasised that even though the reported individual is said\nto have issued a clarification or apology, the legal process will\ncontinue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will not remain silent towards people who insult religion,\nparticularly Islam. Even though a clarification has been made, the legal\nprocess will continue,\u201d wrote the complainant\u2019s account in a social\nmedia post.<\/p>\n<p>Police have stressed that the report is currently being processed\naccording to applicable procedures. Investigators will examine the\nreported incident and gather evidence to determine the next legal steps\nagainst the vocalist with the initial C.<\/p>",
