In this 24th edition of Southeast Asia\u2019s largest international mining\nexhibition, VKTR is showcasing the 8-metre \u201cArjuno\u201d electric bus in\ncollaboration with Laksana and PT Bagong Dekaka Makmur, who are already\nusers and operators of the bus, as a mobility solution for mining\noperational needs.<\/p>\n
Mining Indonesia is described as a premier event for mining industry\nplayers, bringing together global industry leaders while introducing the\nlatest technologies and solutions for mining operational\nrequirements.<\/p>\n
According to Indah, due to high utilisation rates, the mining sector\nis one of the most compelling areas to drive electrification because the\nbenefits can be felt directly within operations.<\/p>\n
She noted that the company is presenting the Arjuno as an 8-metre\nelectric bus that offers a blend of capacity, range, and operational\nflexibility. With a capacity of up to 25 passengers, a 210 kWh battery,\nand a range of up to 350 kilometres, the vehicle is ready to support\nhigh-utilisation mobility needs.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, a DC full charge time of approximately 90 minutes allows\noperators to align charging schedules with fleet operational\npatterns.<\/p>\n
The fleet is part of a collaboration between VKTR, operators, and\nLaksana Karoseri to provide vehicle solutions for mining operations in\nIndonesia. The use of the Arjuno for transport within mining areas is\npart of VKTR\u2019s operational experience in applying electric vehicles.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Arjuno is part of VKTR\u2019s commercial electric vehicle portfolio,\ndeveloped to address mobility needs across various sectors,\u201d she\nexplained.<\/p>\n
In addition to 8-metre and 12-metre electric buses, VKTR also\npossesses a line of electric trucks for logistics, mining, and\nindustrial needs, ranging from light-duty to heavy-duty.<\/p>\n
This portfolio includes 4x2 trucks for light transport needs to 6x4\ntrucks for higher load and utilisation requirements, suitable for both\non-road and off-road applications, all of which are fully assembled in\nMagelang.<\/p>\n
Specifically for mining operational needs, Laksana\u2019s experience in\ndeveloping and producing buses is a vital component in ensuring vehicles\ncan be customised to the users\u2019 operational characteristics.<\/p>\n
