Sukabumi, Kompas.com - The Chairman of the Golkar Party and the\nMinister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia,\nconducted a Ramadhan Safari visit to the Azzainiyyah Pondok Pesantren in\nSukabumi, West Java, on Sunday, 8 March 2026.<\/p>\n
At the location, Kompas.com observed that Bahlil was accompanied by\nseveral Golkar officials, including Meutya Hafid, Ace Hasan Syadzily,\nSarmuji, Puteri Komarudin, Dave Laksono, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, and\nDewi Asmara.<\/p>\n
When he arrived in the afternoon, Bahlil immediately performed the\nAsr prayer together. Then, Bahlil paid respects at the tomb of the\ncharismatic cleric KH Zezen ZA Bazul Asyhab.<\/p>\n
Head of Ponpes Azzainiyyah, Aang Abdullah Zein, said that Bahlil had\ntravelled a long way from the East to the West. Aang described Bahlil as\nGolkar\u2019s \u2018kancil\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u2018He came from the East to the West; he is Golkar\u2019s kancil,\u2019 said\nAang, to thunderous applause.<\/p>\n
Aang explained that Bahlil comes from a family with a difficult\neconomy. Nevertheless, he said, Bahlil can now become a great\nminister.<\/p>\n
\u2018He rose from hardship to become a minister who is quite remarkable.\nHe is our role model. And I urge the santri to try to follow what he\ndoes. From zero to hero. From nothing to something,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
