Corporate Secretary Group Head of InJourney Airports, Arie\nAhsanurrohim, stated that the company prioritises the security, safety,\nand service of airport users and passengers. \u201cOn Monday evening, 15 June\n2026, Aviation Security (Avsec) officers responded swiftly to a dispute\nbetween two people in the Terminal 3 check-in area that caused a\ncommotion and had the potential to threaten the security and safety of\nother airport users,\u201d Arie said in a written statement in Jakarta on\nTuesday (16\/6\/2026). Arie explained that InJourney Airports consistently\ndeploys personnel, including Avsec, in passenger terminals to uphold\nsecurity and safety aspects. Assistant Deputy for Communication and\nLegal at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Yudistiawan, said Avsec officers\ncarried out rapid handling in accordance with applicable operational\nstandards. Officers immediately proceeded to the location, brought the\nsituation under control, and separated the two parties involved.\nYudistiawan added that his team also coordinated with relevant elements\nto ensure the situation remained safe, orderly, and conducive without\ndisrupting airport operations or the comfort of other service users.\n\u201cSubsequently, the two disputing parties were taken to the Terminal 3\nPolice Post for mediation and further examination,\u201d Yudistiawan\ncontinued.
