A social media post announcing the launch of MBG TV, which aims to\nbroadcast in 13 provinces, has gone viral. The National Nutrition Agency\n(BGN) has responded.<\/p>\n
According to the viral post, as seen by detikcom on Wednesday\n(25\/2\/2025), the Free Nutritious Food program will expand to a national\ntelevision network through a channel called MBG TV.<\/p>\n
The channel is said to be a means of education related to the Free\nNutritious Food program, increasing public awareness of nutrition, and\nsocialising food security policies.<\/p>\n
In the same post, the presence of MBG TV was announced by the Deputy\nHead of the National Nutrition Agency, Major General Lodewyk Pusung. The\nchannel is said to be available through live streaming services and will\nreach 13 provinces, namely Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java,\nEast Java, North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Lampung,\nSouth Sumatra, West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, and Maluku.<\/p>\n
The Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency for Communication\nand Investigation, Nanik S Deyang, has spoken out. She claims to have no\nknowledge of the emergence of MBG TV.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs Deputy Head of the Communication division, I have no knowledge,\nand neither does the BGN, that anyone is creating MBG TV,\u201d Nanik told\nreporters.<\/p>\n
She said that the producers of MBG TV should have sought permission\nfrom the BGN first.<\/p>\n
\u201cMBG TV must ask for permission from me as Deputy Head in the field\nof Public Communication and Investigation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Nanik also said that she had asked the Head of the National Nutrition\nAgency, Dadan Hindayana, about MBG TV.<\/p>\n
