The viral\nvideo, shared via the Instagram account <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"maluku_info\">@maluku_info<\/span>, features a compilation of\ntwo men with a caption claiming they passed the TNI AD selection process\nwhile wearing official uniforms.<\/p>\n<p>Netizens\u2019 attention was drawn to the appearance, gestures, and\ninteractions between the individuals in the video. In response to these\nallegations, the Head of the Indonesian Army\u2019s Public Relations\n(Kadispenad), Brigadier General TNI Donny Pramono, stated that the\nmilitary has conducted a comprehensive investigation into the video and\nphotos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTNI AD has conducted a thorough in-depth study through examinations\nof the relevant parties, witnesses, mental and physical health checks,\nMental Ideology examinations, and digital footprint tracing,\u201d Donny said\non Sunday, 7 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the results of these examinations, no evidence was found to\nsuggest any romantic relationships, same-sex sexual relations, or\ninvolvement in LGBT behaviour as alleged in the social media\nnarrative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe facts obtained show that the viral content originated from a\npost by a civilian who has a friendship with the soldier,\u201d he added.\n\u201cThe post subsequently evolved into various public speculations and\nperceptions that do not align with the factual results of the\ninvestigation. Witness statements, health examination results, and\ndigital footprint tracing consistently found no indications of deviant\nbehaviour as alleged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Donny emphasised that the TNI AD, as an institution, will not\ntolerate any form of disciplinary or normative violations by its\nsoldiers. However, in this specific case, the investigation found no\nviolations related to LGBT behaviour or immoral acts. \u201cNevertheless,\nguidance will continue to be provided to increase prudence in social\ninteractions and the use of social media,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>",
