The case\nis now being handled by the police. The waliyullah\u2019s grave is located on\nJalan Raya Stasiun Sepanjang. The perpetrator, initialled SA (45), is a\nresident of Kalijaten, Taman Subdistrict. The Taman Police Sector\nCriminal Investigation Unit Chief, Iptu Adri Tri Sasongko, confirmed the\nincident. Police responded to the location after receiving reports from\nthe public following its virality on social media. \u201cYes, we are\nfollowing up on a public complaint regarding the alleged grave\ndesecration in the Pasar Wonocolo area that went viral on social media,\u201d\nAdri stated, as quoted by detikJatim on Monday (20\/4\/2026). From the\non-site inspection, police found damage to the grave structure. Several\nmaterials such as wood and debris from the dismantling have been secured\nas evidence. Based on witness statements, the desecration was carried\nout by SA gradually from Wednesday (15\/4) around 10:00 PM WIB until\nFriday (17\/4\/2026). Police have taken a statement from the suspected\nperpetrator.
