"summary": "A video of a glowing object spotted in the skies over Bali on the night of 11 April 2026 went viral, capturing sightings from areas including Denpasar, Gianyar, and Badung. Indonesia's National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) has clarified that the object was the Chinese Smart Dragon-3 (Jielong-3) rocket, launched from Yangjiang Beach in Guangdong province at 18:32 WIB, with its trajectory passing over Indonesian airspace. The solid-fuelled rocket reached an altitude of 500 kilometres, and the white smoke trail observed was exhaust gas from traversing the upper atmosphere, potentially for missions like sun-synchronous orbit satellite launches.",
