        "content": "<p>An online post by the TikTok account <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"Keongmas\">@Keongmas<\/span> recounted that Roti Romi\u2019s\nMenteng branch in Central Jakarta did not provide a table as scheduled\nfor breaking the fast, despite a reservation made days earlier. The post\nsaid the reservation had a 17:30\u201319:30 time window, and the customer,\nalong with many others, ended up waiting as iftar approached. They\nfinally received a table around 18:50 WIB, after which food and drinks\nwere not yet available, though takjil was provided. The restaurant\u2019s\nowner, Lilysan Wijaya, said the branch faced overbooking with\nreservations exceeding capacity, driven by a sudden influx via WhatsApp\nmessages. \u201cAt first we expected hundreds of chats, but thousands came in\nwithin a very short time,\u201d Lily told Kompas.com on Thursday (5 March\n2026). \u201cThis even caused one of our main WhatsApp numbers to be blocked\ntemporarily, perhaps because it was mistaken for SPAM.\u201d Management\nreported the blockage to WhatsApp to reactivate the number, but the\nprocess was not immediately approved. Consequently, for almost a day the\nmanagement couldn\u2019t access thousands of customer records stored on that\nnumber. \u201cThe blocking happened last-minute before the overbooking day,\nmaking coordination extremely difficult given how close it was to the\nreservation time,\u201d Lily said.
