Two Indonesian migrant workers from NTB have gone viral on social media after claiming they were trafficked to Saudi Arabia and forced into prostitution, servicing up to 450 men monthly under threat of withheld wages. The Head of BP3MI NTB, Ponco Indriyo, stated that no formal complaints have been received from their families, but the agency is actively investigating their identities in coordination with the Indonesian Embassy and Foreign Ministry. This incident underscores the ongoing vulnerabilities faced by Indonesian migrant workers abroad and the need for stronger protective measures against human trafficking.

The Head of the NTB Migrant Worker Protection Service Agency (BP3MI),
Ponco Indriyo, admitted that he has not yet received any complaints from
the families of two Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) from NTB who went
viral for claiming they were forced by their employer in Saudi Arabia to
service 15 lecherous men.

“As of today, we have not received any complaints from the families.
Usually, if something is hidden, there would be information from the
family. But so far, there hasn’t been any,” said Ponco when contacted by
detikBali on Wednesday (6/5/2026).

Ponco stated that BP3MI is continuing to trace the identities of the
two PMIs said to be from the Land of Gora. The tracing is being carried
out after a video of their confession went viral on Instagram social
media.

“Yes, up to now we are tracing the individuals concerned. We have
also tried to mention the person who took the video but there has been
no response,” Ponco said.

According to him, several accounts spreading the video have also not
been able to provide definite information regarding the identities of
the two women.

“So we can’t say for sure whether it’s true or not. Whether the two
are from NTB or not,” Ponco emphasised.

Coordination with KBRI and Kemenlu

BP3MI NTB is currently coordinating with the Embassy of the Republic
of Indonesia (KBRI) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to confirm the
whereabouts of the two PMIs.

However, up to now, no valid information has been gathered.

“KBRI and Kemenlu are also still tracing. We are still in
communication with KBRI and Kemenlu in Jakarta. If there is information,
we will follow up regarding their addresses,” he said.

Although the identities have not been confirmed, Ponco expressed
empathy for the condition experienced by the two women.

“We are very empathetic. Hopefully they are alright,” he
stressed.

Previously, two Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) were suspected of
being victims of human trafficking crimes (TPPO) in Saudi Arabia. The
two claimed they were sold for prostitution activities.

From the confession video circulating on social media, they claimed
to have to service up to 450 lecherous men in a month.

The video was uploaded by the @bisikanneti account on Instagram on
Wednesday (29/4/2025) and went viral again.

“So in a month, I have to service 450 men. If I don’t meet the
target, I don’t get paid,” said the woman in a frightened tone, as seen
by detikBali from the viral video on Monday (4/5/2026).

In her confession, the victim mentioned leaving for Saudi Arabia
after being lured with a job by a field worker with initials N, a woman.
Upon arriving in Saudi Arabia, the two met a woman with initials Z.

“So N lured us via WA for work in Saudi Arabia. But we met Z. There,
we were confined to service men. But we managed to escape while shopping
at one of the malls,” said the woman as in the video seen by
detikBali.
",
