"summary": "A viral social media post about a Pertamina petrol station in South Jakarta ceasing to sell subsidised Pertalite fuel from 1 May 2026 has been clarified by the company, stating that the station has transitioned to Signature status, which does not offer subsidised fuels. Signature stations prioritise premium services and facilities, selling only non-subsidised options like Pertamax and Dex series, with several such locations already operating across Jakarta and surrounding areas including Depok and Bogor. This shift highlights Pertamina's strategy to differentiate service offerings in urban markets.",
