        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) continues to\npursue the acceleration of construction and development of the\nTrans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), which will connect Lampung to Aceh along\nmore than 2,800 kilometres.<\/p>\n<p>The President Director of PT Hutama Karya (Persero), Koentjoro,\nstated that Hutama Karya was assigned the JTTS development in 2014\nthrough Presidential Regulation No.\u00a0100\/2014. By 2024, 110 km have been\nbuilt, successfully connecting several disrupted sections of national\nroads, thereby aiding the distribution of goods and boosting the\nregional economy.<\/p>\n<p>Koentjoro exemplified the results of the Bakauheni-Lampung to\nPalembang toll road section, which has reduced travel time to around 4\nhours from the previous 10 hours, while also developing markets,\nhousing, and schools.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, JTTS has absorbed approximately 3.9 million workers in\nconstruction and operations and contributed Rp 124 trillion to Sumatra\u2019s\nGDP.
