This\nstep is expected to complement and expand the scope of healthcare\nservices for the Indonesian people.<\/p>\n<p>The House of Representatives also seeks to ensure that the public and\ninsurance policyholders receive maximum healthcare services amidst\nsurging medical inflation, while ensuring the insurance industry remains\ncapable of growth. Consequently, Commission XI is encouraging regulators\nat the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to adjust regulations to\ndistribute the financial burden between the industry and policyholders.\nOne proposed method is through a co-payment scheme, where policyholders\nwould bear 10% of the total claim, capped at Rp300,000 for outpatient\ncare and Rp3 million for inpatient care.<\/p>",
