        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia \u2013 PT Kawasan Industri Makassar (KIMA) Acting\nPresident Director R.B Alexander Chandra Irawan said KIMA has the\npotential to become an investment hub for nickel downstreaming and the\nelectric-vehicle (EV) ecosystem. However, investors are also concerned\nabout the market\u2019s potential, which remains focused on Java.<\/p>\n<p>With support from the government and relevant stakeholders, KIMA is\noptimistic about helping to build an economic growth centre in eastern\nIndonesia. One focus is agro-industry and fisheries at KIMA Maros in\nSouth Sulawesi, in support of the national food self-sufficiency\nprogramme.<\/p>\n<p>The industrial estate operator hopes to be given greater scope to\naddress regulatory and licensing issues, making it easier for investors\nto invest in KIMA.<\/p>",
