        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Secretary General of the National Food\nAgency (Bapanas), Sarwo Edhy, has confirmed the government\u2019s efforts to\nmaintain national food price and stock stability during Ramadan and Eid\nal-Fitr 1447 H\/2026. Bapanas has several programmes for stabilising food\nprices and stocks, ranging from strengthening government and regional\nfood reserves, implementing the affordable food movement down to the\nsub-district\/village level, and running the food distribution\nfacilitation programme (FDP) to distribute food from surplus areas to\ndeficit areas. In addition, Bapanas has formed the Saber Pangan Task\nForce for Cleaning Up Food Violations, involving elements from the\nNational Police (Polri), the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), the\nMinistry of Trade (Kemendag), and the Ministry of Agriculture\n(Kementan), tasked with monitoring strategic staple goods such as rice,\ncorn, soybeans, meat, eggs, cooking oil, various onions and chillies, as\nwell as consumption salt and sugar. This Saber Pangan Task Force will\nensure the availability of food stocks and prices, and if there is a\nsurge in food prices, it will investigate the causes and anticipatory\nmeasures.
