        "content": "<p>Kompas.com reports that a panel of judges at the Denpasar District\nCourt sentenced Australian Darcy Francesco Jenson (27) to 12 years in\nprison on Monday (March 9, 2026), only to have the sentence described as\n\u201ca joke\u201d by the victim\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<p>Darcy was found guilty of assisting in the shooting of two Australian\ncitizens, Zivan Radmanovic, who died, and Sanar Ghamin, who was\nseriously injured. After the verdict, the victim\u2019s family condemned the\nsentence as too lenient and as failing to satisfy any sense of justice.\nThis is because the verdict, read by presiding judge I Wayan Suarta, was\nconsiderably lighter than the 17-year prison sentence demanded by the\npublic prosecutor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a joke, this court is a joke, Bali is a joke.
