        "content": "<p>Banjarbaru (ANTARA) - The Vice President of the Republic of\nIndonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, has ensured that all elements are\nmaximising efforts to tackle forest and land fires (karhutla) in\naccordance with the directives of President Prabowo Subianto.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone must move, coordinate closely, and strengthen synergy,\u201d he\nstated while visiting the Forest and Land Fire Monitoring Post in\nGuntung Damar, Banjarbaru, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Gibran revealed that the government has undertaken all necessary\nmeasures to ensure that forest and land fires in Kalimantan are fully\nunder control. In South Kalimantan, for instance, several logistical aid\npackages from the President for fire prevention and management have been\ndistributed.<\/p>\n<p>These supplies include 50 units of water pump machines, 30 sets of\nwater pumps, 19 crates of masks, and two crates of bucket pumps (3\nassy). Furthermore, the Indonesian Ministry of Defence and the\nIndonesian Air Force Medical Centre (Puskes TNI AU) have sent hundreds\nof pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) and masks for the\nofficers on duty.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding these facilities and infrastructure, the Vice President\nassessed that the logistical support is highly adequate. \u201cWe are\ngrateful for the hard work of the officers in the field, supported by\ncommunity volunteers,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
