        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka received an\naudience from the Madrasah Teachers\u2019 Association (PGM) to discuss\nefforts to improve the welfare and strengthen the capacity of madrasah\nteachers through the utilisation of technology.<\/p>\n<p>According to an official statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday,\nthe meeting between the Vice President and PGM officials held today\ndiscussed efforts to enhance welfare while strengthening the capacity of\nmadrasah teachers through the utilisation of technology.<\/p>\n<p>During the audience, PGM conveyed several strategic issues, ranging\nfrom strengthening technology-based training to regulatory challenges\nstill faced by madrasah teachers, particularly in terms of welfare and\nemployment status certainty.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the focus was on matters related to improving welfare\nand strengthening teacher capacity. The Vice President also emphasised\nthe importance of equitable technology-based training to reach all\nregions of Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, PGM also extended an invitation to the Vice\nPresident to attend the 18th Anniversary of PGM and the PGM Award 2026\nin Bandung, as a form of appreciation for the Vice President\u2019s attention\nand support for strengthening the role of madrasah teachers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, we also conveyed how improving the quality of\nmadrasah teachers relates to AI and robotics training in madrasahs. The\nVice President has given a signal that we must carry out that programme.\nIn fact, I proposed that the training be conducted in every province,\u201d\nhe said after the audience.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to capacity building, PGM also highlighted obstacles in\nimproving the welfare of madrasah teachers.<\/p>\n<p>Particularly regarding the absence of regulations governing the\nappointment of private madrasah teachers as Government Employees with\nWork Agreements (PPPK), while also encouraging equitable\ntechnology-based training.<\/p>",
