        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013<\/p>\n<p>The latest Vespa S 150 comes with a range of features, from a\nsquare-shaped LED headlamp to an immobiliser system that helps prevent\nthe engine from being started without the correct key.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release received by ANTARA in Jakarta on Thursday, PT\nPiaggio Indonesia said the scooter is powered by a 150cc i-get engine\nwith a continuously variable transmission (CVT).<\/p>\n<p>For riding comfort, the Vespa S 150 uses a double-swinging-arm\nsuspension system with two degrees of freedom. The system helps reduce\nfriction and vibration, while absorbing impacts when the vehicle travels\nover uneven road surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>The square LED headlamp is one of the Vespa S 150\u2019s sporty design\nfeatures. It remains illuminated to help improve the scooter\u2019s\nvisibility to other road users.<\/p>\n<p>Vespa has also fitted the scooter with an instrument panel combining\nanalogue and digital displays. Its LCD screen shows information\nincluding the odometer, trip distance, fuel indicator and time.<\/p>\n<p>Another feature is an immobiliser integrated with the ignition key.\nThe system helps prevent the engine from being started with an\nunauthorised key. Meanwhile, the rear-view mirrors have a chrome-plated\nreflective finish intended to protect the surface from corrosion and\nreduce glare from the headlights of vehicles behind.<\/p>\n<p>Ayu Hapsari, Public Relations and Communications Manager at PT\nPiaggio Indonesia, said the company continued to strive to keep its\nproducts relevant by responding to changing consumer needs while\nmaintaining service quality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most important thing is that we always stay relevant. So, we\nkeep up with the times and consistently provide the best service,\u201d Ayu\nsaid in Jakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The new scooter, priced from Rp48 million, was introduced on 7\nOctober 2026 and is available in three colours: Green Tenace, Grey\nIntrepido and Black Convinto. Alongside the Vespa LX 150, the model is\nassembled locally in Indonesia.<\/p>",
