        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The founder of Jakarta Vertical Run, Fransisca\nHarlijanto, stated that vertical running events have the potential to\nbecome a regular activity in Jakarta, aiming to strengthen the sport\ntourism sector through the organisation of international-standard\nrunning competitions held within buildings.<\/p>\n<p>According to her in Jakarta on Thursday, the concept of vertical\nrunning, such as the Geely Jakarta Vertical Run 2026 scheduled for 14-15\nNovember at the Autograph Tower Thamrin Nine, will offer a unique\nexperience for urban runners as participants do not run on roads, but\nrather conquer building heights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is why I hope that event (Geely Jakarta Vertical Run 2026) can\nrun smoothly and can continue to be held in the future, and can become a\nregular event for the Jakarta Provincial Government,\u201d said\nFransisca.<\/p>\n<p>She explained that the event is targeted to be included in the\nregular activity calendar under the auspices of the Tower Running World\nAssociation, so that its implementation has the opportunity to be\nconnected to a series of international tower running competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Fransical hopes that the activity can become an attractive event for\nrunners in Indonesia, while simultaneously opening opportunities for\nJakarta to host sporting activities with international appeal.<\/p>\n<p>According to data from the organisers, as of Thursday (3\/9), more\nthan 450 runners from 16 countries have registered.
