        "content": "<p>Vendors complain about kiosk cost<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR (JP): Vendors at the renovated Kebon Kembang market in<br>\nBogor have complained that the Rp 60 million to Rp 100 million<br>\nprice tag for a new kiosk is out of their reach.<\/p>\n<p>The market was gutted by fire two years ago and is being<br>\nrenovated by administration-appointed developer PT Propindo.<\/p>\n<p>\"All of my belongings were burned when the fire razed this<br>\nmarket ... I have to start from zero. I cannot afford to buy the<br>\nkiosk. It's too expensive,\" said market vendor Siti Maesaroh.<\/p>\n<p>The market's unit chief, Komar, was unfazed by the complaints.<\/p>\n<p>\"They (the vendors) always say that they're penniless, but<br>\nturn out to be rich as some even have five cars in their garage.<br>\nI cannot tell who is poor and who is rich,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>The renovation is scheduled to be completed in February next<br>\nyear, with a market capacity for up to 3,000 vendors.
