        "content": "<p>Semarang (ANTARA) - Central Java Regional Police have dismantled an\nalleged syndicate smuggling illegal motor vehicles from Indonesia to\nTimor Leste. \u201cThis practice has been ongoing since January 2025,\u201d said\nDirector of Special Criminal Investigation of Central Java Police,\nSenior Commissioner Pol. Djoko Julianto, in Semarang on Wednesday. He\nstated that the bust began with the prevention of shipping two container\ntrucks containing dozens of motorcycles and cars without documents on 15\nApril 2026. In further development, officers seized more than a dozen\nmotorcycles and two trucks from a warehouse in Wonosari, Klaten Regency,\nwhich were suspected to be smuggled to Timor Leste. In the bust, a total\nof 46 motorcycles, four cars, and two trucks without official documents\nwere seized, intended for shipment to Timor Leste. \u201cThe suspect AT is\nthe financier as well as the liaison with buyers in Timor Leste,\u201d he\nsaid. He explained that the perpetrators obtained the motor vehicles\nfrom various sources and then created fictitious documents for shipment.\nThe illegal vehicles were sold for Rp13 million to Rp15 million per\nmotorcycle unit, Rp140 million to Rp150 million per car unit, and Rp210\nmillion to Rp220 million per truck unit.
