        "content": "<p>VDHS in acquisition talks<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (Reuter): Engineering and infrastructure services<br>\nfirm Van der Horst said yesterday it was in talks to buy stakes<br>\nin companies with interests in  telecommunications in Indonesia<br>\nand in civil engineering and construction in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Van Der Horst said in a statement that company chairman<br>\nJohanes Kotjo had told the board the proposed acquisitions could<br>\nsee a substantial increase in the share capital of Van der Horst<br>\nwhich might result in a change in effective control.<\/p>\n<p>It said no agreements had been finalized, but the outcome of<br>\nthe talks would be announced by the end of the week.<br>\nThe company had requested a continuation of the trading<br>\nsuspension of its shares and warrants, it said.<\/p>",
