V-Kool to open RI outlets<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): V-Kool Franchise International is to open
\noutlets in Indonesia under franchising agreements with local
\ncompanies to meet the growing demand for its window coating
\nfilms.<\/p>\n
Andrew K.T. Kwan, director of V-Kool Franchise International,
\nsaid here on Friday the company had formed a joint venture with a
\nlocal company to manage the franchising business in the country.<\/p>\n
The joint venture, PT V-Kool Indo Lestari, would act as its
\nmaster franchisee in Indonesia, he told a media briefing.<\/p>\n
Darma Eddi Salim, the president of the joint venture, said he
\nhoped existing V-Kool agents would change their business
\nrelations into franchising contracts.<\/p>\n
V-Kool is known for its automotive glass windows, especially
\nhigh-class cars in Indonesia, but in other countries their
\nproducts are also used for solar control, in condominiums for
\nexample, as well as antireflection electronic displays.<\/p>\n
The product will compete with other, cheaper brands, such as
\nSolarguard and Foliatech, which are also sold by retailers.(07)<\/p>",
