Utut, Spaniard draw at Biel Open<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Grand Master (GM) Utut Adianto of Indonesia was held to
\na draw by International Master (IM) Julen Arizmendi of Spain in
\nthe third round of the Biel Open chess tournament in Biel,
\nSwitzerland, on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
\"With the black pieces against Arizmendi, I used a Sicilian
\nDragon defense. After battling for six hours and 45 minutes, and
\n102 moves, a draw was unavoidable,\" Utut said in a press release.<\/p>\n
Seven players are tied atop the leaderboard with a perfect
\nthree points each. Utut, who won his previous matches, was tied
\non 2.5 points with other nine players.<\/p>\n
The Biel Open, which Utut won in 1994, has drawn 114 players

JAKARTA: The Sentul auto racing circuit will stage the second
\nseries of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, from Aug. 1 to
\n3, according to a press release from the track's management.<\/p>\n
The motorbike competition will see the Supersport 600cc and
\nUnderbone 125cc contested, with riders expected to come from
\nMalaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, South Korea,
\nAustralia, England and Indonesia.<\/p>\n
The first of a four competitions in the series of the Asian
\nKarting Open Championship will also be staged on the same dates.<\/p>\n
The management has also announced two domestic events --
\nTouring Car and Drag Bike -- in the following two weeks as part
