"summary": "The US Central Command has announced that its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will exempt ships not heading to or from Iranian ports, following the failure of peace negotiations between Washington and Tehran. This measure, set to begin on Monday, aims to restrict access to Iranian waters while preserving the vital global shipping corridor through which 20% of the world's oil supply passes. The development underscores escalating tensions in the region, with potential implications for international trade and energy security.",
