"summary": "The US Treasury Department has issued a broad warning to global financial institutions, threatening secondary sanctions against any entities deemed to support Iranian activities amid stalled direct negotiations between the US and Iran. It emphasised an aggressive approach with maximum economic pressure, stating that short-term permits for the sale of Iranian oil already at sea will expire soon without extension, affecting approximately 140 million barrels. This escalation comes after marathon talks ended without a permanent resolution, with President Trump indicating potential continuation in Pakistan.",
