"summary": "The Pentagon has presented President Donald Trump with a high-risk plan to extract Iran's enriched uranium reserves, involving hundreds to thousands of troops and heavy equipment to breach fortified sites, as reported by The Washington Post. Trump dismissed questions about declaring victory without securing the material, noting its deep burial and difficulty of access. This proposal follows a series of escalating conflicts, including Israeli strikes on Iran in 2025, a 12-day war ending in ceasefire, and joint US-Israeli attacks in 2026 that prompted Iranian retaliation.",
