TNI personnel, alongside soldiers from the United States, Japan, and\nSouth Korea, are honing their jungle survival skills through Jungle\nSurvival training. This activity is part of the Super Garuda Shield\n(SGS) 2026 Joint Combined Exercise, which took place in Teluk Pandan,\nPesawaran, Lampung, on Wednesday (2\/9).<\/p>\n
According to a press release from the TNI Public Relations Centre\n(Puspen TNI), this training is designed to equip soldiers with skills in\nutilising natural resources, terrain recognition, and basic survival\ntechniques to support long-term operations in forest environments.<\/p>\n
In addition to Jungle Survival, joint personnel also underwent sniper\ntraining at the same location. This material aims to train the\nprecision, concentration, patience, and self-control of soldiers in\nhigh-precision combat situations.<\/p>\n
Commander of the TNI, General Agus Subiyanto, stated that SGS 2026\ninvolves broad participation from various countries, including\nAustralia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, as well as Southeast\nAsian nations such as Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. This exercise\nserves as an important medium for defence diplomacy and cross-border\nknowledge exchange.<\/p>\n

The TNI has ensured that the entire series of exercises is proceeding\nsafely with strict adherence to security standard procedures.
