        "content": "<p>Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a list of\nemergency hotlines for the Directorate of Indonesian Citizens Protection\n(PWNI) and hotlines for Indonesian diplomatic missions in the Middle\nEast region.<\/p>\n<p>The emergency numbers were released to provide communication channels\nfor Indonesian citizens caught in the war situation between the United\nStates, Israel, and Iran.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn an emergency situation, Indonesian citizens can immediately\ncontact the Hotline of the Directorate for Indonesian Citizens\nProtection at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via the number +62\n812-9007-0027,\u201d the Foreign Ministry stated in its official announcement\non Monday (2 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Indonesian citizens can also contact the hotline of Indonesian\ndiplomatic missions in the Middle East region to maintain communication.\nThe Foreign Ministry, through its diplomatic mission in the Middle East,\nhas urged all Indonesian citizens in affected areas to remain calm,\nincrease vigilance, follow instructions from local authorities, and\nmaintain regular communication with the nearest Indonesian diplomatic\nmission.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Foreign Ministry, through the Directorate of Indonesian Citizens\nProtection (PWNI) and Indonesian missions in the Middle East region,\ncontinues to maintain intensive communication and coordinate with\nIndonesian citizens in their respective areas of operation,\u201d the\nministry added.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Ministry also urged Indonesians planning to travel\nthrough or transit the Middle East region to reconsider their travel\nplans and postpone travel until the situation becomes more\nconducive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with all Indonesian\nmissions in the region, will continue to monitor and conduct\ncomprehensive assessments of the security situation dynamics, actual\nconditions on the ground, and response measures being and will be\nundertaken to address future developments,\u201d the ministry stated.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, news agency Agence France-Presse reported two explosions\nheard in Tehran. The United States is reported to have been involved in\nthe attacks, according to several US officials and other sources with\nknowledge of the operation.<\/p>\n<p>The attacks occurred as the United States deployed a large fleet of\nfighter jets and warships to the region to pressure Iran into reaching\nan agreement regarding its nuclear programme. In the attacks, Iran\u2019s\nSupreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died at his residence along with\nhis daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.<\/p>",
