The government has also requested that umrah pilgrims currently in\nSaudi Arabia and their families in Indonesia remain calm and refrain\nfrom panicking. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in coordination with\nIndonesia\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is maintaining continuous\ncommunication with Saudi Arabian authorities, airlines, and umrah travel\norganisers (PPIU).<\/p>\n
According to Dahnil, this coordination ensures that pilgrims\nexperiencing delayed returns receive adequate care, including temporary\naccommodation in safe and suitable hotels or lodgings.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are continuously coordinating with Saudi Arabian authorities,\nairlines, and PPIU to ensure that pilgrims whose return is delayed can\nbe accommodated in hotels and other safe and suitable locations,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the government has advised the public to avoid being\neasily influenced by unverified information. Citizens are urged to refer\nto official government sources to prevent misinformation that could\ncause public unrest.<\/p>\n
Amid regional concerns, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has assured\nthat preparations for the 1447 Hijri hajj pilgrimage in 2026 remain\nunaffected. All stages of preparation, including planning and technical\ncoordination, are proceeding according to schedule.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope the situation normalises soon and all parties exercise\nrestraint. The government will continue monitoring developments and take\nnecessary measures for the safety and comfort of pilgrims,\u201d Dahnil\nsaid.<\/p>\n
