        "content": "<p>U.S. envoy to meet cleric Gymnastiar<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia Ralph L. Boyce will<br>\nvisit Bandung on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26, as part of his ongoing<br>\nseries of visits to important centers outside of Jakarta,<br>\naccording to a U.S. Embassy statement, released on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>During his visit, Ambassador Boyce and his party will visit<br>\nthe Darut Tauhid pesantren (Islamic boarding school) to meet with<br>\nMuslim cleric Abdullah Gymnastiar. The ambassador will also<br>\nattend a breaking of the fast meeting at the Police Officers<br>\nSchool (SESPIM), at which Gymnastiar will speak.<\/p>\n<p>The ambassador will also call on the West Java governor, visit<br>\nthe Bandung Institute of Technology to meet its rector and senior<br>\nstaff as well as to see a joint USAID-ITB project on emergency<br>\npreparedness and to visit the Salman Mosque at the institute.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Ambassador Boyce will visit Padjadjaran University<br>\nto meet the rector and speak to students and staff. --JP<\/p>",
