        "content": "<p>Tehran (ANTARA) - The Iranian Parliament has revealed that the United\nStates is not only imposing a trade blockade but also a flight blockade\nagainst Iran.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leaders of the White House must know that the brave Iranian\nnation will never back down, even in the face of trade and flight\nblockades,\u201d stated the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad\nBagher Ghalibaf, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Tehran will respond to all forms of oppression\nstrongly, precisely, and swiftly.<\/p>\n<p>In early September 2026, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent\nannounced that Iranian airlines would no longer be permitted to operate\nflights and would not receive ground services due to sanctions starting\nfrom 23 September.<\/p>\n<p>Following this move, several countries have suspended flights\noperated by Iranian airlines.<\/p>\n<p>The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament added that as long as Iran is\nunable to sell oil, no country in the region will be able to do so\neither.<\/p>\n<p>Ghalibaf also emphasised that as long as threats to Iran\u2019s security\npersist, the Middle East region will continue to face insecurity that\nthreatens infrastructure facilities.<\/p>",
