        "content": "<p>Divers from the Basarnas Special Group (BSG) discovered another\ndeceased victim inside the overturned hull of KM Virgo 8 in the Java Sea\nwaters on Monday (21\/9) at approximately 14:24 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the total number of victims found has reached 121,\nconsisting of 108 survivors and 13 fatalities. Consequently, 122 people\nremain missing out of the total 243 individuals listed on the KM Virgo\nTransport 8 manifest.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Basarnas, Air Marshal Mohammad Syafii, stated that the\nsearch and evacuation process is being carried out to the maximum\nextent, deploying all available personnel and resources.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not stop. Every discovery is part of our effort to provide\ncertainty to the families. The team will continue to conduct the search\nmaximally, while certainly prioritising the safety of the divers,\u201d\nSyafii said in his statement on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>After being evacuated from the ship\u2019s hull, the victims were\ntransported via Helicopter HR 3601 to Banjarmasin Airport at 11:20\nWITA.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the victims will be handed over to the relevant\nauthorities for identification and further handling.<\/p>\n<p>KM Virgo Transport 8 was reported to have lost contact in the Java\nSea waters on Sunday (13\/9) at 02:00 WITA, while sailing from Surabaya\nto Banjarmasin since Saturday (12\/9).<\/p>\n<p>The vessel is suspected to have lost contact due to severe weather\nconditions. The ship was discovered on the same day in an overturned\ncondition in the Java Sea waters.<\/p>",
