        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2013 PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI)\nhas confirmed that its new electrification products will be launched in\nIndonesia in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>Atsushi Kurita, President Director of PT MMKSI, stated that the\ncompany is currently preparing for the launch of its first hybrid model\nfor the Indonesian market, including production planning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are currently making preparations. We plan to begin production in\nthe first half of 2026, and start marketing the vehicle in the second\nhalf,\u201d Kurita told media in Jakarta on Friday, 27 February 2026.<\/p>\n<p>However, he assured that the new hybrid model will be produced\nlocally. This means it will utilise the manufacturing facility of PT\nMitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI), rather than being\nimported from abroad or as a completely built-up unit (CBU).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will produce it in Indonesia,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the launch of the new hybrid-based Mitsubishi product for\nthe Indonesian market, Kurita had previously disclosed this during the\nIIMS 2026 exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGlobally, we already have several electrification product lines. In\nJapan, we have a small battery electric vehicle (BEV), in the United\nStates we have the Outlander PHEV. In Thailand, we have a hybrid,\u201d said\nKurita.<\/p>",
