The positive side is that he has<br>\ncreated employment in the economic crisis. On the other hand he<br>\nhas generated a negative impact. Having no land to dry the raw<br>\ncrackers he uses a vacant lot next to a school and close to a<br>\nresidential area. People complain about the smell of the shrimp<br>\ncrackers and the water pollution by the production of the<br>\ncrackers. Drying of the crackers starts at eight in the morning<br>\nand lasts until noon. The school children are forced to inhale<br>\nthe unsavory smelly air every day. The school has sent a letter<br>\nto the kelurahan (sub-district) office, telephoned them and told<br>\nthem of the problem. There has been no satisfactory answer.<\/p>\n<p>1. Is there a legal basis for the water pollution and the air<br>\npollution caused by the drying of shrimp crackers in an area<br>\nwhich is not owned by the producer and which disturbs the<br>\nstudents in class?<\/p>\n<p>2. Which authority should be contacted?
