Unruly passenger arrested on plane<\/p>\n
MALAYSIA: Authorities arrested a man who tried to break into the
\ncockpit of a Malaysia Airlines plane en route from Kuala Lumpur
\nto Hong Kong, an airline official said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The man was detained by Hong Kong police upon landing, a
\nMalaysia Airlines spokeswoman said on condition of anonymity.<\/p>\n
Malaysia's national news agency Bernama identified the man as
\nYu Naibin, a Chinese citizen.<\/p>\n
A statement released by the airline said the disruptive
\npassenger became "violent" and tried to enter the cockpit. Cabin
\ncrew aboard the Tuesday morning flight restrained and handcuffed
\nthe man with the help of other passengers, the statement said.<\/p>\n
Hong Kong police spokeswoman Margaret Ho said the man had been
\nsent to a local hospital for observation, as police suspected he
\nmight be mentally ill. She said there was "no criminal element"
\nin the case, which had been referred to the immigration
