President Randy Howard said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Howard told Dow Jones Newswires that Unocal's \"mood\" toward<br>\nnatural gas exploration and production in Thailand changed about<br>\nmidyear last year, when Thai gross domestic product growth<br>\nprojections took a marked turn for the better.<\/p>\n<p>\"GDP growth directly impacts natural gas and power demand,\"<br>\nHoward said. \"We've seen a very steady eight-to-nine month power<br>\ngrowth trend. And this has been industrial sector growth, not<br>\njust people running their air conditioners longer. It's real<br>\ngrowth.
