This commitment is demonstrated\nthrough NIC\u2019s participation in the AI Universe Roadmap Workshop:\nAdvancing Academic Innovation and Research in Higher Education with\nGoogle AI, which took place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Aston\nImperial Bekasi.<\/p>\n
This activity is a strategic step in addressing the needs of higher\neducation, which is increasingly driven by the development of Artificial\nIntelligence (AI) technology. In this forum, NIC explored various latest\nAI solutions that have the potential to be implemented in the learning\nand research processes within the campus environment.<\/p>\n
One of the technologies that became the main focus was NotebookLM, an\nAI innovation from Google designed to support research activities and\nknowledge management. Through a live demonstration, this technology can\nhelp understand complex documents, automatically summarise information,\nand generate data-based insights quickly and accurately.<\/p>\n
The use of NotebookLM is considered to open up great opportunities in\nimproving the quality of research by lecturers and students. This\ntechnology enables the literature study process to be more efficient,\naccelerates the preparation of scientific papers, and encourages the\nbirth of more innovative and relevant research ideas for industry\nneeds.<\/p>\n
Head of the Nusa Mandiri Innovation Center (NIC), Fitra Septia\nNugraha, said that the adoption of AI technology is an important step in\nacademic transformation in the digital era.<\/p>\n

In addition to NotebookLM, this workshop also introduced Gemini AI\ntechnology, which plays a role in increasing academic productivity.\nHowever, the main focus on NotebookLM provides a new perspective that AI\ncan act as a thinking partner in the development of science.<\/p>\n
