In the caption you<br>\nidentified one of the persons in the photograph as \"Pat<br>\nRobertson, a visiting renowned analyst of world events...\"<\/p>\n<p>I am wondering where you obtained that information. It<br>\ncertainly could not be from any research into this man's<br>\nbackground.<\/p>\n<p>For your information, Pat Robertson is the leader of extreme<br>\nright-wing Christian fundamentalism in the United States. He has<br>\ngrown very, very wealthy from the contributions of his followers<br>\nand his personal take-over of the Christian Broadcasting Network<br>\n(CBN) in this country. Several years ago, he was the religious<br>\nright wing's candidate for the U.S. presidency and entered a<br>\nnumber of Republican primary elections, but lost the nomination<br>\nto George Bush.<\/p>\n<p>To describe Robertson as a \"visiting renowned analyst of world<br>\nevents\" completely misleads your readers. The news programs<br>\nbroadcast over the television network he controls regularly<br>\ndistort the truth and twist events to increase his personal<br>\ninfluence and gain more contributions from his followers. His<br>\nstations lend credence to the arch conservative, anti-government<br>\nviews of the right wing militants such as those responsible for<br>\nthe bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n<p>Johannes Oentoro, the rector of the private university<br>\n(University of Pelita Harapan in Karawaci, Tangerang) and Atiek<br>\nWardiman (wife of the Minister of Education) were also included<br>\nin the photo, as was a Mulyono, who was described as the<br>\norganizer of the event.<\/p>\n<p>One wonders about their motivations and a possible hidden<br>\nagenda.
