University exam results Friday<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Belated results of state university entrance
\ntests in Jakarta and its surrounding areas will be announced at
\nthe Senayan Stadium in Central Jakarta on Friday, an executive of
\nthe test committee said Monday.<\/p>\n
Wiwit B. Widiantono, secretary of the committee in charge of
\nsupervising tests in the greater Jakarta area, said the release
\nof results would also be held at the local entrance test
\ncommittee's offices.<\/p>\n
"Test participants can check for free whether they passed
\neither through results attached on a board or newspaper sheets to
\nbe handed out by showing their participants' identities," Wiwit
\nwas quoted by Antara as saying.<\/p>\n
The announcement of the tests, which were conducted on June 16
\nand June 17, was originally scheduled for July 25. Minister of
\nEducation of Culture Juwono Sudarsono attributed the delay to
\nrising prices of paper, late data processing and a 15 percent
\nrise in test takers which had required more arrangements to be
